M&A volume exceeds 5 trillion for the first time

Global M&A volume this year increased by 64 percent compared to last year, reaching $5.8 trillion, according to Refinitiv’s data.

In 2021, the number of major M&A transactions increased by 24 percent to 62,193.

The volume of mergers and acquisitions in the USA was $ 2.5 trillion.
