Russia fined Google $98 million

The Isle of Man Tourist Trophy is perhaps the most dangerous race on earth, with 242 deaths in its 107 years of existence

The hearing of the lawsuit filed against Google by the Russian Federal Information Technologies and Mass Media Supervision Agency was held at the Taganskiy Court in the capital, Moscow. The court fined Google $98 million for failing to delete banned content.

Google was given a warning regarding 16 data prohibited in the Russian Federation by the Russian Federal Information Technologies and Mass Media Supervision Agency.

The company’s spokesperson in Moscow stated that they will evaluate the step to be taken regarding the decision.
